JLES Awarded Best Business Product 2023
The Housebuilder Awards are one of the industry’s most reputable award ceremonies and we’re proud to have been awarded Best Business Product, for the 2nd time since 2019.
The awards celebrate innovative products that offers cost saving & time saving benefits, improve the build quality of homes and make homes a safer environment, all whilst putting sustainability first. For our Joint Venture Consortium Scheme Service to be recognised as an industry leading solution is a huge honour to everyone at JLES.
Since winning this award in 2019, we continued to develop our vision to reduce the number of unadopted roads throughout the UK and saw the need for a solution that would assist developers in achieving the adoption of highways & sewers on Joint Venture Projects, in a timelier, more cost-efficient manner.
Here’s how our Joint Venture Consortium Scheme service won us Best Business Product at the renowned Housebuilder Product Awards 2023:
Adoption Guarantee Promise
It’s hard to foresee how a joint-venture scheme will evolve, which makes it difficult for a consortium of busy developers to plan the adoption process, whilst remaining in harmony with each other.
Our engineers focus on strategically planning & programming the phasing of works, allowing us to provide our clients with an adoption guarantee promise.
Budget Friendly
We’re confident in our ability to delivery and want our clients to feel as confident as we do whilst still having the ability to set estate completion budgets, which is why we provide all our services on a fixed fee, lump sum basis.
Result-based invoicing
Our fixed fee, invoice on results solution eradicates the risk of intermittent, speculative contractor payments.
By pre-identifying Key Milestone Invoice Achievement points, and outlining these to our clients, we are able to invoice once real results are visible to our client.
Industry Impact
We’re constantly working to bring new innovative solutions to the industry, but here’s how we’re making an impact in our everyday work:
• Reducing the pressure developers face by taking full responsibility of their adoption projects, allowing them to focus on building new homes for their residents.
• Contributing to minimising the skills shortage in the engineering sector, we have trained over 56 apprentices who have either remained at JLES or gone on to work for another engineering organisation.
• Working with developers who have reached their NHBC limit and helping reduce this, so more developers are able to source bonds for new projects.
