We are honoured to have been recognised for our apprenticeship scheme for the 2nd time in 4 years, at the North West Regional Apprenticeship Awards 2022.
This award demonstrates the long-term commitment to nurturing young talent and empowering employees to have conviction in their own abilities. For the nineteenth year running the National Apprenticeship Awards have hosted a high-profile event which receives over 1000 applications every year, with only a handful of companies making the shortlist for their regional event, so to win this award is a great achievement for everyone at JLES.
JLES Group will now go on to represent the North West in the National Apprenticeship Awards in London later this year.
JLES first opened its door to apprentices in 2006, employing their first ever apprentice (who is still employed at JLES to this day) and beginning the journey to creating a high-standard apprenticeship scheme that both the business and apprentices benefit profusely from.
The company are no strangers to apprenticeship success with 50% of the Board of Directors being former apprentices trained through the JLES apprenticeship scheme.
Joana White, HR Manager said - “Winning the SME Employer of the Year is an incredible achievement for us and something that the whole organisation is extremely proud of. Having started as an Apprentice 8 years ago, I’ve witnessed first-hand how JLES’s number one priority is its staff. The organisation always aims to further develop their staff as much as possible and being recognised by The National Apprenticeship Awards solidifies our commitment to the Apprenticeship Service. It was an amazing event and congratulations to all the organisations and apprentices that either won or received highly commended.”
We are currently recruiting apprentices across the UK with a variety of career opportunities available. For more information on our available apprenticeship vacancies or to apply, visit our careers page.
