JLES x Compassion UK: 16 Years of Building Brighter Futures

At JLES, we believe that success lies not just in business achievements but in the impact that we have on the world around us. As we celebrate 20 years of our specialist infrastructure solutions, we want to use this milestone as an opportunity to deepen our commitment to giving back through our 20 Charities for 20 Years initiative.

One charity that’s especially close to our hearts is Compassion UK, an international organisation dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty. Operating across 29 countries, Compassion UK partners with over 8,600 local churches to provide children and their families with education, healthcare, emotional support, and the tools to create brighter futures.

Our partnership with Compassion UK began in 2009 with the sponsorship of three children from different parts of the world. Over the past 16 years, we’ve continued to support multiple children through their programme. What started as financial support has grown into something much more personal. Through letters, gifts, and words of encouragement, we’ve built meaningful connections with these children—offering emotional support and inspiring them to dream big.

This month, as part of our 20 for 20 initiative, we’re proud to make direct donations to the three children we currently sponsor and their families, reaffirming our commitment to their futures.

Our partnership with Compassion UK reflects our core commitment to creating a better world. At JLES, we want to contribute to a sustainable and equitable future. Compassion UK shares these values by empowering children and families to overcome challenges and reach their potential.
