This complex S278 scheme had many restrictive measures in place & required a large scope of high remedial works in order to get the maintenance certificate released. This involved:
• Kerb repairs and replacements throughout the development
• Approximately 325M2 of full highway & footpath re-surfacing
• Drainage dig-downs to multiple manholes
• Full resurfacing of traffic calming tabletop to be able to achieve adequate vertical deflection on ramps
• Raising of iron works, gully relocation, gully connection remedials and cleansing
• General site maintenance
As well as being located adjacent to a pre-school, this development has only 1 access and egress point and a heavy flow of traffic on the trunk road, therefore the scheme involved:
• Heavily involved health & safety coordinators to ensure all required safety measures where in place
• Due to the location of the junction, extensive traffic management was required to ensure access was available whenever necessary
• JLES Exeter were appointed as the Specialist Contractor on this complex S278 legacy scheme. to acquire the maintenance certificate for their client, David Wilson
• Lump sum, fixed cost to complete S278 works and achieve maintenance
• Works invoiced upon Local Authority written acceptance
• Supervision and management of works throughout
• Consultancy and technical work to satisfy outstanding adoption documentation
• JLES acting as Principal Contractor, Main Contractor & the developers Managing Agent
• Resident liaison & full customer care package
